- mark simmons Review added: 2018.10.02★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆village square pub with traditional feel. Hip Hop was very good yesterday. Barman very helpful but landlord was not user friendly and far more interested in watching the cricket than making any effort to welcome us. (just 2 stars compared with all other local landlords on same pub trip last night viz. The Victoria - 7 stars, The Royal Oak - 8 stars, Three Horseshoes - 9 stars). The four of us were going to eat there but we voted to move to a more welcoming place for spending any more of our money.
